Yeah, I can’t lie, blimey, something rather cool has just happened, and this is one of those videos where I go, “You’ve gotta check this out, like, right now!”
Now, I know what you’re thinking. It’s AI. Yep, it’s another AI tool for WordPress. But honestly, this fella is a little different. Number one, it’s free. Number two, it’s an MCP server that is way beyond plug-and-play. It’s “click-and-play,” that’s what it is. And I am stunned by how easy this is to use, how simple it is to set up, and just how crushingly phenomenal the breadth of stuff you can actually do with this is.
I’m going to run through just a few examples of what can be done with this exceptional free tool — well, to be fair, it’s not even a plugin to some extent, but we’ll get onto that in a little bit.
And hang about towards the end of the demo, because there’s something I’ll show you that you’re going to absolutely love. It opens up huge possibilities for all us folk wanting to build clean, modern WordPress block sites.
But first, let me just clarify my position on WordPress and AI, because I’ve been hearing a lot of noise lately. You know me, I love AI. I’m absolutely head over heels with it. I use it every day — my JavaScript has got a ton better, strangely enough!
And I’ve said it before on this channel: AI that integrates with WordPress? It’s a total no-brainer. It enhances my work. It gets things done faster. It helps me do things that perhaps I couldn’t actually do before without bringing in another developer. And fundamentally? It keeps me in the WordPress ecosystem.
This whole thing about AI and “vibe coding” and moving away from WordPress… honestly? I don’t want to build anything else other than WordPress sites! I don’t want to “vibe-code” a headless WordPress site. Why would I want to do that? It’s hard to maintain. You can’t use plugins.
And don’t even come at me with the security and speed thing. Have you seen the speed of my website? Built in modern WordPress — 100×4 across the board, thank you very much. And let’s be real, your vibe-coded site is way, way more likely to get hacked than a solid WordPress site, fully maintained, fully up-to-date, on proper hosting.
