I use AI with my WordPress work every day, pretty much — for things like whipping up a quick function, a shortcode maybe and, ahem, quite a bit of JavaScript 🙂 As well as dummy content and other mundane manual tasks.
And yeah, I’ve tried out some of the AI “full site builders” and some are pretty good — but in my line of work, I tend to build to the design I’m given or one I’ve created myself — so those tools are not really an option for me.
But what I like most of all (and is the most fun!) is playing with the ever increasing plugins that bring in the sort of AI functionality directly into the WordPress admin interface you’d normally need an external service for, like make.com or n8n.io — and oh boy did I just have some fun putting together a totally bonkers scenario to showcase what you can do these days, right there in the WP Admin, no coding required — automations, connecting with AI, using that AI output to make other decisions and flows, email sequences and funnels — absolutely wild!
So this is a 2-part-er vid — I’ll first show you the finished App, and then show you how to build it! I’m using one of the best plugins for this kind of thing and it’s called Bit Flows, and it’s pretty awesome.
