Block Themes: How to get a perfect score on Google Pagespeed Insights

So… the holy grail of Google PageSpeed Insights. Getting all 4 of those scores to 100 – Performance, Accessibility, Best Practice and SEO.

Is it possible? – for sure it is.

Is it easy? – yes and no.

It’s all about building your site with performance in mind, from the very beginning – that means you gotta use Block Theming.

It means you gotta approach every page, every section with that same speed-focussed philosophy.

And you have to have your site and pages optimised the heck out of BEFORE you even think about adding a cache plugin. Because you’re gonna need that cache plugin when you start adding other stuff to the site like analytics and other plugin functionality.

Oh yeah – and you gotta have very good hosting – this is not expensive. But it is essential.

Yes, that hosting will have optimised cache server-side and that’s what I’ve got going on in this video – but no site-side cache plugin here

So can we do it? Can we get those 4 scores to 100?
