I’m not a massive fan of web animations in WordPress (or otherwise!) unless they are a real “feature” of the design/UX and are done so very right!
That said, a little subtle movement on a web page can make things slightly more interesting – and I had to include some as part of the spec on a recent WordPress Block Theme build.
Simple animations are remarkably easy-ish to custom code but, in true WordPress style, I thought I’d I’d take a peek at the WordPress Plugin Repo to see if there are any that handle animations for WordPress Blocks – and of course there was!
In this WordPress Tutorial, I’ll share the plugin I discovered and walk you through how to use it to create animations on WordPress – plus show you a some examples of of some-real world uses.
