How to Add a Pop-Up Opt In for Free in WordPress

Adding a Pop Up Opt-in email sign up form with a free digital give away is a great way to encourage your website visitors to subscribe to your mailing list / news letter.

There’s a few ways to add a Popup Opt-In to your website. One of the many subscription services will do the job quickly and easily but you’ll be paying a monthly sub ongoing. There’s also some excellent premium plugins that will as good a job if you want to spend a few dollars, but you can also do it for free with a couple of plugins form the WordPress Repository.

In this full length WordPress tutorial I’ll show you how to combine the ace “Pop Up Maker” plugin and the classic WordPress form plugin “Contact Form 7” to create a Popup that captures your visiter’s email address and sends them a Free e-book as their reward – easy!

How to Install Google Analytics on WordPress

 

Getting Google Analytics on your WordPress website couldn’t be easier.

There’s a ton of free plugin in the WordPress Repository to choose from and one of my favourites is “Google Analytics Dashboard for WP”.

It’s incredibly easy to install and displays a brilliant mini analytics dashboard on the WordPress Admin dashboard- amazing!

In this tutorial I’ll show you how to set up a Google analytics account, install the plugin and connect it to google – and it only takes 3 minutes !
